Obituary for John W. Stotten
John W. Stotten, 81, of Mahanoy City, passed away on Wednesday at Gino J. Merli Veteran's Center, Scranton. Born in Mahanoy City, on June 19, 1933, he was the son of the late Susan (Popick) and John Stotten. He was of the Protestant faith. John was a graduate of Mahanoy City High School and had six college degrees. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. John was employed as a construction engineer. He loved to play tennis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Florence Goodwin and Charlotte Shukaitis. Graveside services at will be held on Monday, October 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc, is in charge of arrangements.
