Obituary for Patricia Suender Dolbin
Patricia Suender Dolbin, 85, proud resident of Pottsville, passed away peacefully in her residence on Sunday morning with family members at her side.

Born in Philadelphia on July 17, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Winifred (Barrett) and Daniel Anthony Morris.

She was a graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School and Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia.

Patricia was a devout Catholic and member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville; she took great joy and comfort in her faith, family and friends.

Always known for her intellect, quick wit and sense of humor, she will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Patricia married her hometown sweetheart and loving husband, Russell L "Skip" Suender, Jr., with whom she had a family of eight adoring children. Skip predeceased her in August, 1978. She was predeceased by daughters Katherine and Danielle.

Patricia is also predeceased by her second husband, The Honorable Donald D. Dolbin, with whom she spent many wonderful years before his passing in January, 2000.

She is survived by three sons, Russell L Suender III, husband of Bonnie of Pottsville ; D. Job Suender, husband of Ellen, of Pottsville; John M Suender, husband of Maggie, of Cherry Hill, N.J. ; three daughters, Sara G Suender, of Schuylkill Haven; Lisa Suender Wapinsky, wife of Daniel, of Helfenstein; Rebecca Suender Mead, wife of William, of Medford N.J.; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 4th at 1p.m. at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, with Monsignor Edward J O'Connor officiating. A visitation will be held at 12 noon until the time of service at St. Patrick’s Church.

Interment will follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
