Obituary for Wayne L. Wheary
Wayne L. Wheary, 79, of Pottsville, passed away in Schuylkill Center, Pottsville on Wednesday afternoon. ��Born in Valley View on February 3, 1936 he was the son of the late Marlin Etzweiler and Viola Wheary Reed. ��He was a self-employed carpenter. Wayne is survived by a son, Edward Wheary, of St. Clair; granddaughter: Cassandra Carter, of Joliette; sisters: Phyllis Wheary, of Minersville; Peggy Waddel, of CO; brother, David Reed, of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews; and long-time companion, Cheryl Roman. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 7th at 12:00 noon at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. ��Interment will follow in St. Andrew's United Methodist Church Cemetery, Valley View.
