Obituary for Vincent A. Tenant
Vincent A. Tenant, 85, of Mims, FL, and formerly of Pottsville, passed away Friday morning at Hospice of St. Francis, Titusville, FL.
Born in Pottsville on February 20, 1933, he was the son of the late James and Margaret (Buehler) Tenant.
He was a 1952 graduate of Pottsville High School.
Vincent proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.
He was an office manager for the United States Library of Congress for 26 years, retiring in 1988.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Youshaw.
Vincent is survived by daughters: Geralyn Haggerty, wife of John, of Sarasota, FL; and Sharon Rose Dolak, of Keller, TX; sister: Carolyn Barone, of Pottsville; 3 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Interment with military honors will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Wednesday , December 26th at 2:00 p.m.
