Obituary for Sharon Troy
Sharon Troy, 59 of Pottsville passed away on Saturday at Schuylkill Medical Center, East. Born in Pottsville on March 21, 1954, she was the daughter of the George F. and Marion C. (Grace) Troy. She was a member of St. Patrick R.C.C., Pottsville and attended St. Joseph Center for special learning. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, George F. Troy. In addition to her mother, Sharon is survived by sisters: Colleen F., wife of George Yatsko, of Pottsville and Maureen L., wife of Mark Tray, of Pottsville; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held on Monday, January 6th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, PA 17901 to help defray funeral expenses.
