Obituary for S.L. Honaker
S.L. "Dick" Honaker, 55, of Port Carbon, passed away on Monday afternoon in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. ��Born in Caldwell, West Virginia, on December 8, 1960, he was a son of the late Nellie (Angle) and Silas Honaker. ��He was a graduate of Pocahontas High School, Pocahontas, Virginia and a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Port Carbon. Dick worked for Losche Plumbing and at Lowes in the plumbing department. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Susie Honaker. Dick is survived by sons, Benjamin and Thomas Honaker, both of Pottsville; sisters, Doris L. Moore, of Pottsville; Rose Baley, of Blandon; brothers, L.B. Honaker, of VA; Roy Honaker, of Pottsville; and several nieces and nephews. ��Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
