Obituary for Ronald H. Lickman
Ronald H. Lickman, 46, of Orwigsburg, passed away on Saturday in Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice Inpatient Unit with his family by his side. Born in Brooklyn, NY on July 13, 1967, he was the son of Barbara (Quinn) and Ronald E. Lickman. He was a heavy equipment/tower crane operator for U.S. Crane and Rigging, Brooklyn N.Y. and formerly for the family business, SDL Construction. Ronald was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. He had an outgoing personality and would willingly help others at anytime. Ronald was a first responder at Ground Zero. His many interests included deep water scuba diving, traveling, music, and gun rights advocacy. In addition to his parents, Ronald is also survived by his girlfriend, Susan Ryon; three sisters, Lisa Lickman, of Orwigsburg; Lori Quinn, of Pottsville; Lynn Lickman, of Schuylkill Haven; and a brother, Quinn Lickman, of Orwigsburg; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th at 10:00 a.m. at Sweet Arrow Lake. Since Ronald also loved animals, the family requests memorial contributions in Ronald's name be sent to: Ruth Steinert SPCA 18 Wertz Dr. Pine Grove, PA 17963.
