Obituary for Rita C. Charles
Rita C. Charles, 91, of Seton Manor, Orwigsburg, passed away on Monday evening in her residence. Born on July 12, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Clara (Keating) Charles. She was a member of St. Patrick R.C.C., Pottsville. Rita worked in the kitchen at Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville, for over 25 years. ��She loved singing, life, and just being with people. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Pearl, Beatrice, and Marie. Rita is survived by nieces: Sister Mary Ann Sterner, of Flourtown, PA and Carlene Heller, of Pottsville; nephews: Harry and Earl Phillips, both of Reading; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th at 10:00 a.m. at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg. ��Interment will follow in St. Vincent's Cemetery, Minersville. ��Lord Bixler Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
