Obituary for Rebecca N. Stoffler
Rebecca N. Stoffler, 106, of Providence Place, Pottsville passed away on Wednesday afternoon in her residence.
Born in Tower City, on June 19, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Carrie A. (Harvey) and John E. Neal.
Becky was a graduate of Pottsville High School Class of 1927 and a member of First United Methodist Church, Pottsville.
She worked as a secretary for Frank D. Yuengling and as a housewife.
Becky was a member of the former Pottsville Club, the Schuylkill County Country Club, and the Schuylkill County Historical Society.
She was also very active in the Pottsville Hospital Ladies Auxillary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick W. Stoffler, on November 23, 1997 and a sister, Margaret N. Boone, in 1993. Becky was the last of her immediate family.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at 1st United Methodist Church, 330 W. Market St., Pottsville, with Pastor John Wallace officiating.
Interment will follow in Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville.
