Obituary for Peter F. Meseravage
Peter F. Meseravage, 77, of Pottsville, passed away on Sunday, under hospice care with assistance from the Veterans Administration, at Broad Mountain Nursing Health and Rehab, Frackville, where he resided for just one day.
Born in Pottsville on April 13, 1940, he was the son of the late Peter B. and Alma (Pukas) Meseravage.
He was a 1958 graduate of Nativity BVM and proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1958-1963.
Peter worked at Bethlehem Steel for 30 years and later at Yuengling Brewery for 5 years, retiring in 2005.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, where he was very active with church affairs.
Peter most enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Judy, to whom he was married 54 years; daughters: Kelly J. Mueller, wife of Glenn, of Schuylkill Haven and Kate A. Bobst, wife of Gary, of Sinking Spring; grandchildren: Julie, Rachel, and Max Mueller.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 17th at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 913 Mahantongo St., Pottsville with Rev. David J. Loeper officiating.
Interment will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
