Obituary for Patsy R. Clews
Patsy R. (Anderko) Clews, 86, of Pottsville, passed away Saturday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill East Norwegian , Pottsville.
Born in Llewlyn, on October 13, 1931, she was a daughter of the late
Louisa (Eisenacher) and Andrew Anderko.
She was a graduate of Pottsville High School and a member of
First United Presbyterian Church, Pottsville.
Pat was a teller at Miners National Bank for 31 years, retiring in 1996.
She was a member of the Pottsville Lions Club, where she was a past secretary and treasurer, and past President of both the Lionettes and the Greenwood Hill Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Raymond H. Clews, on December 4, 2008, and to whom she was married 56 years; sisters: Jeanne Ameden, Lillian Anderko, and Nancy Jones.
Pat is survived by a son, David Clews, widower of Margie, of Auburn; a daughter, Linda Kerstetter, wife of Don, of Harrisburg; grandchildren: Brooke Kuhlen, wife of Michael, of Harleysville; Jason Clews, husband of Leah, of Pottsville; Anna, Julie, and Maria Kerstetter; great grandchildren, Katie, Lily, and Zoe Kuhlen and Maxwell, Quincy, Hudson, and Wyatt Clews; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville. A viewing will be held in the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Interment will follow in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
