Obituary for Mary Sema
Mary Sema, 92, of Pottsville, and formerly of Minersville passed away on Monday evening in Luther Ridge, Pottsville.
She was born in Minersville, on May 29, 1924.
Mary was a member of St. Nicholas Ukranian Church, Minersville and their Senior Citizens group.
In her earlier years she worked as a housekeeper at the Neco Allen Hotel.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, George Sema in 2006 and to whom she was married for 33 years.
She is survived by her nephew and caregiver, Vince Albo; a brother-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 9th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukranian Church, 415 N. Front St., Minersville, with Rev. Mark Fesniak officiating. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Minersville.
