Obituary for Mary E. Mortimer
Mary E. Mortimer, 92, of Pottsville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening at Luther Ridge, Pottsville.
Born in Pottsville, on December 31, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Emily E. (Filbert) and Norman A. Mortimer.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and the Episcopal Church Women, Pottsville.
Mary worked as a bookkeeper for 25 years at Miners National Bank and Heritage National Bank, Pottsville.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Mary is survived by her cousin, Bill Freeston and his wife, Janet, of Reading.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville, with Pastor Peggy Sue Pfeffer officiating.
The family request contributions in Mary's memory be sent to Hillside SPCA, Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
