Obituary for Mary C. Koch
Mary C. Koch, 80, of Pottsville, passed away on May 11th at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Born in Pottsville, on November 29, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Mary (Spudis) Boris, Sr.
She was a graduate of Nativity BVM and a member of St. Ambrose R.C.C, Schuylkill Haven.
Mary worked at Colonial Blouse, Pottsville, for several years.
Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, painting, and other crafts.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald A., in February 2002; brothers, Joseph Jr., Edward and Jack Boris.
Mary is survived by a son, Greg Koch, husband of Melissa, of Springboro, OH; grandchildren: Mason, Owen, and Ava; brother, Paul Boris, of Pottsville; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 31st at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick R.C.C., 319 Mahanotongo St., Pottsville. A visitation with the family will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the procession will leave for church in Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville.
Interment will follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.
