Obituary for Marie A. Horner
Marie A. Horner, 78, of Pottsville, passed away peacefully in Providence Place on Friday afternoon surrounded by her family.
Born in Pottsville in 1942, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Theresa (Meta) Ricciotti.
She was a 1960 graduate of Minersville High School.
Marie was an executive secretary for American Argo Corporation for over 20 years, retiring in 1994. She was also an administration clerk for Norwegian Township for approximately 15 years until 2012.
She enjoyed dancing, shopping and traveling in her spare time.
Marie is survived by a son, Mark T. Horner, husband of Elizabeth, of Cibolo, TX; and companion, Frank Ryan for 35 years.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 15th, at 11:00 a.m. at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville. A visitation will be held in the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Pottsville.
