Obituary for Madeline C. Aucker
Madeline C. Aucker, 84, of Pottsville, passed away on Wednesday afternoon in Schuylkill Center. Born in Phoenix Park, on July 17, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Quinn) and Joseph Terleskas. Madeline was a member of St. Patrick R.C.C., Pottsville. She was a LPN at Good Samaritan Hospital. Madeline was a great supporter and volunteer of community events. She enjoyed cooking and won several awards for her recipes. Madeline especially enjoyed celebrating St. Patrick's Day. In addition to her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Aucker Sr., in 1986 and to whom she was married for 47 years; a daughter, Nancy Ditzler; sons, Raymond and Clarence Aucker; grandson, Frederick Hossler Jr; sisters: Kathryn, Julia, Josephine Terleskas, and Rose Orlosky; brothers: Joseph and Thomas Terleskas; She is survived by daughters: Dolores Crowe, of Carlisle; Rose Marie Ziniewicz, of Natapokin, NY; Theresa Hossler, of Frackville; Christine Aucker, of Frackville; Andrea Aucker, of Pottsville; Kimberly Stefansky, of Lake Wynonah; sons: Joseph Aucker, of Llewellyn and Kevin Aucker, of Coopersburg; sister, Anna Kryston, of Llewellyn; 25 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick R.C.C., 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville will be private at the convenience of the family. The family requests no flowers and memorial contributions in Madeline's name may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 101 W.
