Obituary for Joseph V. Noel
Joseph V. Noel, 90, of Pottsville, passed away Thursday morning in Manor Care, Pottsville.
Born in Ashland, on May 27, 1926, he was a son of the late Mary B. (Gallagher) and Joseph E. Noel.
He was a 1943 graduate of Mt. Carmel Township High School and a former member of Mary Queen of Peace.
Joseph proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He was the owner of Pioneer Builders in Norwegian Township for 45 years.
Joseph was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Noel in 1999.
He is survived by his wife, Charlann (Bercher) Noel, to whom he was married for almost 70 years; two sons Ronald, husband of Kathryn Noel, of Pottsville ; Joseph, husband of Michelle Noel, of Pottsville; 4 grandchildren and 7 great granchildren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
