Obituary for Joseph A. Santilli
Joseph A. Santilli, 65, of Agawam, MA, and formerly of Pottsville, was lifted to Heaven on May 11th at
Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Northampton, MA.
Born in Pottsville, on February 13, 1952, he was a son of the late William A. and Marion (Tassone) Santilli.
He was a graduate of Nativity High School, Pottsville.
Joe was a member of Good Shepard Catholic Church, Drums and a former member of St. Joseph RCC.
Prior to retirement he worked for JDM Direct Mail, Hamburg.
Joe volunteered at the Schuylkill Visitor Bureau for many years and was involved in the Pottsville Community.
In addition to his parents, Joe is preceded in death by brother, Mario J. Santilli, in 2010.
He is survived by goddaughter, Jessica (Fisher) Potito, wife of Tim Potito, of Agawam, MA and numerous first, second and third cousins.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, May 21st at 2:00 p.m. at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, with Deacon Jack Quirk officiating. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.
Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made directly to Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, to assist the family in burial expenses.
