Obituary for Helen J. Dembitsky
Helen J. Dembitsky, 87, of Pottsville, passed away on Thursday morning in Schuylkill Medical Center East Norwegian. She was a sewing machine operator and worked in several garment factories through the years. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Dembitsky in 1998, to whom she was married for 47 years. Helen is survived by her son, Kevin N. Dembitsky,husband of Maryann of Pine Grove; granddaughter, Melissa Post, wife of Matthew, and grandson, Michael Dembitsky; and a sister, Sophie Janakowski. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
