Obituary for Frances A. Gockley
Frances A. Gockley, 74, of Lake Wynonah, Auburn, passed away peacefully on Thursday afternoon in her residence with her loving daughter and family by her side.
Born in Reading, on January 9, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Lombardo) Torcivia.
She was a graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School.
Frances was a member of St. Ambrose R.C. Church, Schuylkill Haven.
She worked as a secretary at Boscovs, retiring in 2000.
Frances was an avid gardener and enjoyed being outdoors.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Gockley, on April 5, 2008, and to whom she was married 39 years; and brother, Nicholas.
Frances is survived by a daughter, Stephanie, wife of Thomas Russo, of Lake Wynonah; grandchildren: Thomas Jr. and Kaitlyn Russo and step-grandson, Christopher Russo.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 9th, at 11:00 a.m. at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville. A visitation with the family will be held from10:30 a.m. until time of service.

Inurnment will follow in St. Ambrose Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.
