Obituary for Eileen T. Neifert
Eileen T. Neifert, 74, of New Philadelphia, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday.

Born in Pottsville, on July 16, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Anthony J. and Anna (Dalton) LaBella.

She was a graduate of Blythe Township High School and a member of the Holy Cross Church, New Philadelphia.

Eileen worked for 40 years at the former Pottsville Hospital as a clinical secretary for the maternity and ICU units.

She most loved spending time with her family and cooking for them and was a devoted "Nona" to her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Neifert on November 26, 2001, and to whom she was married 41 years.

Eileen is survived by two daughters, Colleen A. Starr, wife of Alan, of Orwigsburg; Kimberly A. Briest, of Lake Wynonah; three sons Gregory J. Neifert, of New Philadelphia; Francis A. Neifert, of Harrisburg; Eric J. Neifert, husband of Juliette, of Pottsville; grandchildren: Chad C. Briest, of Lake Wynonah; Alyssa C. Starr, of West Chester; Naomi E. Neifert, of Pottsville; Maria F. Neifert, of Pottsville; sisters: Ann Marie Anderson, of Fairfax Station, VA and Ginny MacLauchlan, of Warrenton, VA.; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 30th at 12:30 p.m. at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, with Father Christopher M. Zelonis officiating.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
