Obituary for Deborah M. Pasker
Deborah M. Pasker, 57 of Minersville, passed away in her home on Sunday morning with her husband by her side. Born in Pottsville on Feb. 6, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Charles Francis and Rita (Weismiller) Szeliga. Deb was a graduate of Pottsville High School and was of the Catholic faith. In the 1980's, Deb was the owner and operator of the Orange Julius stand at the Fairlane Mall. She especially enjoyed spending time with her son and going to yard sales and thrifting. Deb is survived by her husband William to whom she was married for 27 years. Deb and Bill were great for each other and stood faithfully by one another through some very difficult times in their lives; a son Brandon Pasker of NY; one sister Constance, of Pottsville, and two brothers; Thomas C. Szeliga and his wife, Phyllis, of Pottsville and Joseph E. Szeliga and his wife, Heather, of Minersville; also several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday Oct 1 at 11am in St Patrick RCC, Pottsville. A viewing will be held on Thursday morning at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville from 9am until the procession will leave for church. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Hillside. The family requests contributions in Deb's memory be sent to Open Arms Ministery, 220 S 2nd St. Saint Clair Pa. 17970. �� Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.��
