Obituary for David A. Foster
David A. Foster, 53, of Shoemakersville, formerly of Pottsville, passed away on Thursday evening surrounded by his family in Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Norristown, PA on March 4, 1961, he was the son of the late Charles and Carolyn A. (Herwig) Foster. David was a 1978 graduate of Pottsville High School. He enjoyed fishing and camping and spending time in Ocean City, NJ. David was a machine operator at Cressona Aluminum for 15 years. He is survived by a son, David Foster, of Richmond, VA; brothers: Michael C. Foster, of Shoemakersville and Charles S., husband of Lori Foster, of Schuylkill Haven; sisters: Cheryl A. Yeager, of Pottsville and Diane, wife of Peter Campbell, of Tecomseh, MI; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville. Interment will follow in St. John #2 Cemetery, Pottsville.
