Obituary for Charles R. Lorah
Charles R. Lorah, 88, of , Hamburg and formerly of Reading died on Monday afternoon in Berks Heim, Leesport. Born in Ruscombmanor Twp., on June 14, 1925, he was a son of the late Carrie E. (Rothenberger) and Daniel O. Lorah. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. Charlie worked as a truck driver at Reading Transportation and several other companies for 40 years, retiring in 1987. In addition to his parents Charlie was preceded in death by brothers: John and Harvey Lorah; sisters: Nora Lorah and Gertrude Rothenberger ; and companion, Romayne Donato. Charlie is survived by three sisters: Esther Bixler and Carrie Lorah, both of Hamburg, Grace Trabosh, of Shoemakersville and a brother, Henry Lorah, Shoemakersville. Services will be private.
