Obituary for Charlann M. Noel
Charlann M. Noel, 92, of Pottsville passed away peacefully on Sunday morning at Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill, Pottsville.

Born in Pottsville, on July 25, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Kotch) Bercher.

Charlann was 1946 Graduate of Pottsville High School and a former member of Mary Queen of Peace.

She worked as a bookkeeper at Gateway Bowling Lanes for 12 years, retiring in 1970.

Charlann was a member of the Saint Clair Women's Club.

She enjoyed bowling, going on vacations, and spending time at the beach. But most of all, she enjoyed the time spent with family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph V. Noel, on September 22, 2016 and to whom she was married almost 70 years; and son, Joseph C. Noel, on January 15, 2021.

Charlann is survived by a son, Ronald C. Noel, husband of Kathryn, of Pottsville; daughter-in-law, Michelle Noel, of Schuylkill Haven; grandchildren: Heather Hable, Rebecca Evans, Jeremy and Kevin Noel; and great grandchildren: Logan and Livia Hable; Adalyn, Corbin, and Brayden Evans; Braxton, Ashton, Kora and Taylor Noel; sister, Carlene Motley, of Douglassville; brothers: Charles Bercher, of Glen Bernie, MD and Paul Bercher, of Garland, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
