Obituary for Barbara E. Littell
Barbara E. Littell, 74, of Pottsville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 15th, while traveling in Arizona.
Born in Minneapolis, MN on December 4, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Bernice (Peacock) and Charles Donaldson.
She was a member of Grace Bible Church, Hawk Mountain.
Barbara was a 1961 graduate of Valley High School, Fairview, IL.
She enjoyed cooking and traveling throughout the United States.
Barbara worked for and later retired from the Offices of Senior Services, where she served as an intake referral clerk.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by sons: Timothy Scott and Brian David Littell; and brother Curtis Donaldson.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Stephen L. Littell, to whom she was married 51 years; daughter, Jennifer L. Amoratis, of Pottsville; grandchild, Dakota Amoratis; sister, Kay McCance
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, with Pastor Leland Stauff officiating. A viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
