Obituary for Ann T. Heckman
Ann T. Heckman, 83, of Pottsville, passed away on Sunday morning at Tremont Health and Rehab Center, Tremont.
Born in Pottsville, on June 16, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Gertrude (Lynch) and John Biltheiser.
Ann was a graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School and a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.
She was a homemaker her entire life and loved her children, grandchildren, and family very much.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Heckman, on May 14, 2015, and to whom she was married 60 years; a son, Andrew J. in 2003; and granddaughter, Abby ; brothers, John and Phillip Biltheiser; and sister, Gertrude Barone.
Ann is survived by sons: Stephen G., husband of Patricia, of Ambler, PA; Martin J., husband of Erin A., of Pottsville; William G., husband of Katy, of Orwigsburg; daughter, Beth Ann Shuttlesworth, wife of James, of Williamstown, PA; grandchildren: Danielle, Martin, Devin, Maura, Mitchell, Hannah, Shannon, Jamie, and Alexa; sisters: Mary Lubinsky and Margaret Zelinsky, both of Pottsville; brother, Joseph Biltheiser, husband of Anna, of Pottsville; several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 2nd at 10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick R.C.C, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville with Msgr. Glosser officiating. There will be no viewing or receiving line.
Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
