Obituary for Alma M. Vesay
Alma Marie Vesay, 93 of Pottsville passed away on Sunday July 20, 2014 with her family by her side. Born on February 24, 1921 in Forestville, she was the daughter of the late John and Loretta (Huth)Tracey. Alma was a member of Saint Patrick's Church, Pottsville and proudly volunteered for many causes. She was employed locally by Sears. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, and loved dancing; especially polkas. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles "Kazzy" Vesay; a brother and three sisters. She is survived by her son Charles T. and his wife Barbara, Baltimore, Maryland.; daughter Judy and husband Bill Miller, Bear, Delaware; daughter Kathy Mitchell, Allentown; son Jack and wife Bonnie, Friedensburg; son Jamie and partner Suzanne, Johnson, Omaha, Nebraska;13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a sister, Arlyne Schmidt. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 24th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick R.C.C., 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville. A viewing will be held at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville at 9:00 a.m. until the procession will leave for church.
